I responded to an ad by ESPN that was funny to me so I wanted to look at the different subtexts and tools of persuasion

This ad shows two boys laughing while surrounded by brands and prices. I created this ad buster on Walmart because I just learned a fact that was very saddening, that the Walmart employee acceptance rate is lower than Harvard at 2.6% but instead of a great education the Walmart employees are getting a metaphorical prison sentence. Most of the people that work for Walmart are part of the lower class and really need the money and when they get accepted they can't leave because no where else will take them. Walmart starting wage is 11$ and that is very low even with the numbers like that Walmart makes a profit of 1.8 million dollars every hour. If there franchise was an economy they would be the 28th biggest in the world. This shows how much people rely on Walmart and shop only at Walmart because it is so cheap and because now less than half of adult are in the middle class.
